Great healthy options

The breakfast is decent but almond milk coffees are terrible.

I had the pleasure of stumbling upon The Plant on my way to an audition for a quick bite and it did not disappoint. I have some wonky food restrictions and The Plant's menu was perfect for me, delicious and satisfying. I didn't book the role, but at least I got a fantastic meal with good service that day.

Everything tasted fresh. You can see the chefs make your food and have it delivered to your table. Overall a pretty nice experience.

The plant burger was fresh. I enjoyed it very much. The cauliflower could be better... Very bland. Ambience was good and would love to try other stuff on their menu.

Great lunch spot in a convenient location on Montgomery Street. Everything is so fresh and tasty, and there's a wide variety of items on the menu for every taste. I love plant-based meat alternative and I'm so glad Plant Cafe has a variety of them!

Great place for breakfast. Very nice staff and everything delicious!! We went two days in a row during our trip in San Francisco.We would come back for sure!!!

Made light of a friend picking such a hipster place for lunch but it's a fine space to have a non-meat meal in a clean airy and buzzy environment. My one reflection was the poached egg atop the quinoa bowl was not so plant-based. IDK how but 2 bowls and a smoothie totalled to a Ulysses S Grant note.

I love (LOVE!) Plant Cafe! The Full Belly Salad is a personal favorite.

Great quality food

Food was fresh and tasty, but not amazing and it was slightly overpriced what what I got. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Really tasty roasted chicken and avocado sandwich on gf bread... Kinda pricey considering was sliced gf loaf, guessing schar's gf bread. Don't get me wrong it's good but for the cost you'd assume home baked!

Loved the food and the staff! It was busy when I went in but the line went fast, I found a seat at the communal table, and I got my good quickly.

I tried the chicken burger and it was amazing! We visited during lunch hour and the place was packed. Even so, we still had our orders taken promptly and the food was prepared pretty quickly. Service was fast and friendly, and I would highly recommend this place as a great spot for lunch in San Francisco.

Very nice atmosphere, can be slow at peak times. Ordered the chicken sandwich with roasted potatoe as side. It was tasty but nothing extraordinary. Tried two different drinks, the Green one with spirulina was very good, tasty and healthy. The grade of 3 stars is based on value for money, it is overpriced in my mind, even for SF prices. Staff is very friendly.

Glad that they are helping people experience food that is free of pesticide residues. The food here is yummy. We went here quite often. The staff is friendly and we left satisfied. I would recommend this place if you are looking for safe food for your body and support not poisoning this world.

Nice food. Very healthy. Pricey but worth it.

We ordered the plant burger and the power bowl. The burger was nothing too special and (understandably) didn't have too much structural integrity, but I enjoyed it. The power bowl was just not good at all and was just WAY too oily and kind of lacking in depth of flavor. Things were slightly busy, but even still I'd say staff were a little curt when we were ordering food which felt a little unwelcoming.

Really good salad and burgers, all on an organic basis. Lots of vegan options, too! The place is bright and the atmosphere pretty nice. Five stars!

This power bowl was easily tweaked to be vegan and it was delicious (and healthy)! Will definitely come back and highly recommend it. Great friendly staff, clean and inviting. Would eat here all the time if I lived in SF!

Pricey and just okay

I came here with my family for lunch on vacation. It is refreshing to get good and healthy food like this. We ordered vegan burgers, a melon salad and one turkey burger. They were all good!

Great fresh organic food. Love the Roast Chicken and Avocado Sandwich. Cobb Salad is great too. But the best part is the friendly staff. They always are smiling and want to help. I left an expensive pair of sunglasses at lunch. I came back the next day and they had found them and put them in a bag waiting for me! Made my week!

Great place to have vegeratian food. I had the ceasar kale and a green smoothie and loved them. Menu is not extremly creative but the basic vegetarian stuff is there and its good!

A nice place to get healthy organic meals in downtown San Francisco. There is a good selection of creative vegetarian meals, with my favorite, the Plant burger made of lentils, beets and other yummy veggie ingredients. My non-vegetarian favorite is the tangy salmon served on soba noodles. You can have your fill of creative juice combos, all squeezed on the premises after you had placed the order. A light chocolate cookie complements the menu. Prices are a bit steep but to be expected for organic food in the downtown area. The Embarcadero location is better for a longer sit-down meal.

A little expensive overall, and I wish they didn't bother to serve meat/chicken at all. But for vegans, this place has many excellent options, nicely prepared.

Pricey but worth it: Healthy and delicious bakery and to go items as well as the largest bowls and salads I’ve seen (delicious too!).

As a Platinum REAL Certified restaurant, this place checks all the boxes for me! Food is so fresh and delicious and is sourced from organic farms, supporting our local food system. I wish I could eat here every meal!!
